Tarot, Tarot and a little more Tarot!

So, I did it. I bit the bullet and joined the Tarot Reader’s Academy Summer School. That’s 13 Tarot courses on a variety of topics starting Solstice (June 21). I am very excited to begin this next advancement in my Tarot journey and learn from a large variety of well known experts and practitioners in the field. The other thing that excites me about all of this is the sharing with you that I will get to do. I am also going to start a 78 day tarot study and place it here. This is something else I am excited … Continue reading Tarot, Tarot and a little more Tarot!

Happy Friday!

We have made it through the week!  Congratulations. Today’s oils are anxiety ease and breathe easier.  The kids are doing presentations so keeping their anxiety to a minimum and helping them take deep breaths is in order. These are blends created by Eden’s Garden.  Anxiety ease is a balanced mixture of Sweet Orange, Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass.   Breathe Easier  is a healing mixture of Lemon, Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Rosemary. The two blend so well together and the classroom smells amazing. (Eden’s Garden) The diffuser not only helps them, but it keeps any anxiety I might be having at bay as well.  I … Continue reading Happy Friday!

So…..

It happens.  I missed a day. I was doing so well too! However, I have decided not to worry about it.  I realized it right around 11 p.m. last night and decided I was too tired to type something up.  It had really been one of those days. I am a reader.  I love books.  The issue when I read is that I tune everything and everyone out.  I get so focused that I forget the real world is happening.  I had taken a break from reading last week to see what it felt like.  Go figure, dishes got done, … Continue reading So…..

I Did It!

Merry Meet!! I hope your Monday is going well.  Over the weekend I managed to get the meditation/altar/exercise space cleaned and I sorted through all my clothes and got rid of 4 bags of stuff.  I am sure there is more I can do, but for now it is a start. Everything isn’t all organized yet, that’s for the next couple of evenings when hubby is at work.  However, there is a start, and clean space on the floor, which means I can at least keep moving, get grounded and return to a state of being me. This is important! … Continue reading I Did It!

I Hate Lavender

Now most people would say that is a heavy statement.  I use the word hate, which of course is strong language and I could tone it down I suppose.  If I did tone it down, however, it would not convey the absolute loathing I feel when the perfumes, heavily scented with the frangrant flower billow over my senses. By now you are wondering why I even stated this.  Why should you care?  You should care because this is a post about essential oils.  And no matter who you are, lavender is at the core of essential oils.  Not the lavender … Continue reading I Hate Lavender

Late Nights

Ah the joys of sleep…what are those?  Today, I couldn’t tell you.  After a wonderful evening out, a little shopping, some hanging out with the kids before they went off to do their own thing, up to bed I went.  Hubby turned on a movie I wasn’t even interested in seeing so he could go to sleep and I closed my eyes.  Then I opened them, less than 30 seconds later.  He was already asleep…granted he had worked the night before and had not done any sleeping yet, so I can understand that.  I don’t begrudge him sleeping when he … Continue reading Late Nights

Anticipation and Anxiety

Oh yes, the two of them go hand in hand, especially when the wait is prolonged or we want something badly.  One of the things that I am working on now, within my own path and my own life, is controlling the anxiety that goes with the anticipation.   Anxiety can be crippling.  It can cause heart palpitations, sweating, shaking, headaches…all of which can be dealt with fairly easy.  However, it can also cause complete shut down for some.  The fear of not knowing, literally paralyzes them.  Keeps them indoors, creates scenarios that they can’t deal with.   There are … Continue reading Anticipation and Anxiety
